SABA has furthered its partnership with The Robin Hood Foundation in funding their “Love of Maths Program”.
As a result of the direct funding, The Love of Maths program was able to be introduced at Wyebank Primary School in Motalabad area (near Kloof) where there was a massive need for this Love of Maths program. Working closely with the principal, 30 children who are not only battling with maths but also come from very poor backgrounds were identified to enter the program. The program for the 30 children provides a lesson every week for 8 months ending in December 2023. 15 pupils each in grades 2 and 3 are completing the course.
In line with their youth development programme – SABA members provided funding for the procurement of full soccer kits for the U13; U16 and Senior Teams. SABA was also able to provide training equipment and match balls for the teams.
